About the Role

We are seeking 100 compassionate and dedicated Carers to join our team for a newly built 200-bed care home in Kent. The successful candidates will provide high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being.

As a Carer, you will assist with personal hygiene tasks, help with mobility needs, prepare and serve meals, and offer companionship. You will also perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment. Medication administration will be handled by our nursing staff. This role requires empathy, professionalism, and a commitment to improving the lives of our residents.

Key Details:


Sponsorship Available: We are offering Tier 2 sponsorship for successful candidates seeking sponsorship.

Training Requirement: All candidates must have a Level 2/Level 3 qualification in care or be working towards it. Comprehensive Level 2/Level 3 training will be provided for those who need it.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Personal Care: Assist clients with personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

  • Mobility Support: Help clients with mobility and physical activities, including getting in and out of bed, walking, and using mobility aids.

  • Nutritional Support: Prepare and serve meals, assist with feeding if necessary, and monitor dietary needs.

  • Medication Assistance: Administer medication according to care plans and provide reminders to clients.

  • Companionship: Offer emotional support and companionship, engaging clients in conversations and activities.

  • Household Tasks: Perform light housekeeping duties such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a tidy living environment.

  • Health Monitoring: Monitor and record vital signs, report any health concerns to the nursing staff, and ensure the well-being of clients.

  • Support Services: Assist with errands, shopping, and attending appointments.

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided and client progress.

  • Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.

Qualifications and Requirements:


  • Experience: Minimum of 3 months UK carer experience.

  • Qualifications: Level 2/Level 3 in Care or currently working towards this qualification.

  • Language Skills: Good command and understanding of English.

  • Compassionate and Caring Attitude: A strong desire to provide excellent care and support.

  • Commitment: Ready to commit to a fulfilling career in the care sector.

    • Physical ability to perform caregiving tasks, including lifting and supporting clients.


  • Background Check: Successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.

  • Availability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.


What we offer successful candidates


  • Working hours will be 37.5 hours a week and although these hours may vary, sponsored care workers will always work an average of 150 hours a month. Salary will be paid monthly, with a guaranteed salary of £23,200. You will have the opportunity for additional hours at a pay rate of £11.90 per hour.
